Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development. ## About the role As ATB's next Manager, Sponsorship & Event Experiences, ATB Wealth you will be fiercely accountable for executing best-in-class sponsorships and client hosting experiences that help ATB Wealth deepen relationships, retention and loyalty with our clients, support lead generation and acquisition targets, drive thought leadership among our executives and advisors, as well as build, elevate and protect ATB Wealth’s reputation in the community. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of sponsorship and event planning expertise and best practices, great written and verbal communication skills, experience in executing event experiences on time and on budget, a track record of delivering exceptional client experiences, strong relationship building skills and is capable of working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Reporting to the Managing Director, Sponsorship & Event Experiences, this role leads a portfolio of sponsorships and client hosting experiences for ATB Wealth inside and outside the province of Alberta that achieve all our objectives above. They must interface and manage communications and expectations with stakeholders across the enterprise, including executives, as well as external stakeholders like ATB ambassadors and influencers, community partners and event organizers. They deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and stakeholders and implement measurement programs to capture clear, concise results for reporting. This is a critical role for the Sponsorship and Event Experiences Team and this professional will be asked to participate in various presentations or initiatives to share insights and practices from their portfolio. ## Accountabilities * Be responsible for executing a portfolio of sponsorships and event experiences on time and on budget, that deliver strategic value and results to ATB Wealth * Contribute to the design of sponsorship activation strategies and client hosting experiences that maximize return to sponsorship, brand and business objectives * Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Demonstrate strong time management and multi-tasking skills, to plan and execute multiple events in a given time, to a differentiating standard * Execute measurement practices as part of every sponsorship and client hosting experience * Develop and deliver concise presentations as part of the post-event reporting process * Meaningfully engage with ATB Wealth & ATB team members as volunteers at your sponsorship and client hosting experiences; ensure their behavior and approach to client interactions is appropriate and on-brand * Remain up-to-date on current sponsorship activation and client hosting experiences to ensure best-in-class practices are understood and executed upon * Inspire stakeholders across the organization to participate enthusiastically in sponsorship and client hosting event activities ## Skills, experience & requirements * The competencies & skill sets you’ll need to succeed: * Minimum 5 years sponsorship and/or event experience * Strong events background with preference given to candidates with corporate event experience * Ability to sharpen focus on elements that drive best in class client hosting experiences * Ability to develop strong relationships inside and outside the organization that can support ATB Wealth’s brand and business objectives Strong negotiation skills, experience in managing sponsorship or event contracts * Strong contributor and self-starter * Experience working in Jira and Hubspot * A balance of working collaboratively as well as the drive to work independently, pushing work forward across your portfolio of sponsorship and client hosting experiences * Drive continuous improvement of sponsorship and client hosting experiences performance through KPI tracking and performance management * Manage expenses to ensure costs remain within budget constraints * Experience working in spans and layers to build strong internal and external relationships, and collaborate to achieve results for OneATB. * Ability to travel in and out of the province, work outside normal business hours depending on event schedule * Accreditation: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations or related field * Strong experience working in events industry Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
