Are you passionate about great food, craft cocktails, and creating memorable guest experiences? The Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Server/Bartender to join our team in a full-time, year-round role.

In this position, you’ll provide attentive table service while also crafting and serving beverages at the bar. You’ll be a key part of delivering an exceptional dining experience for hotel guests and local diners alike. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with guests, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.

Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round
Hours: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Location: The Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center
Pay: Hourly wage + tips (competitive based on experience)

Responsibilities

→Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests
→Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
→Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
→Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room and bar areas
→Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems accurately
→Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies
→Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
→Assist with opening and closing side work as needed

Requirements

Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
Strong guest service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairings is a plus
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid alcohol service certification or ability to obtain one

Success will be measured by guest satisfaction, teamwork, efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to service standards.
