Linguist – U.S. Central Command AOR (Middle East, Central Asia & North Africa)

Atlas Advisors is actively seeking interpreters to provide linguistic support to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). Selected candidates will be providing general language support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences. We are looking for both Cleared U.S. Linguist and Local National Linguist from select countries. Immediate openings for the following linguist: CAT II Telugu CAT II Nepalese / Hindi CAT II Russian / Tajik CAT II Kazakh / Russian CAT II Kirghiz / Russian CAT II Uzbek / Russian CAT III Arabic Iraqi/Kurdish CAT III Arabic Eastern Levantine/Kurdish Local Nationals: Russian / Tajik Local Nationals: Kirghiz / Russian Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS U.S. Citizens • US citizen • Active Secret Security Clearance • Able to meet the language requirements outlined below • Minimum of three years experience as a linguist (written and spoken communications) is required. • Excellent command of both the English and target language. • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups from various levels and backgrounds. • Must be in good physical condition with no health deficiencies, either temporary or long-lasting, that would impair performance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Local National Linguist • Citizen of a host nation within the U.S. CENTCOM • Native proficiency in the target language and professional proficiency in English. • Able to pass required background checks and obtain base access credentials.
