- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, budget holders, programme teams and end users across the UK Land environment to ensure a detailed understanding of current operational challenges, future capability requirements and investment priorities
- Shape customer requirements and influence future opportunities through proactive engagement across the MOD, Army Headquarters, National Armaments Director Group and wider Defence community
- Support the expansion of Digital Intelligence Land capabilities into selected international Defence markets, leveraging UK Land domain expertise and existing BAE Systems relationships
- Contribute to the development and execution of international growth strategies aligned with Defence Business Unit objectives
- Collaborate across sales, capability, engineering, delivery and bid teams to secure and deliver business outcomes
- Gain market intelligence, competitor awareness and strategic positioning within the Defence Land domain
- You will have a strong understanding of the UK Defence operating environment, including MOD structures, procurement processes, governance frameworks and decision-making routes
- You will have knowledge of the British Army, Defence Digital, the National Armaments Director group and wider Land domain stakeholder landscape
- You will have demonstrable experience of account management, business development, opportunity qualification, capture management and strategic sales methodologies
- You will understand business case development, investment planning, forecasting and pipeline management
- You will have very good Business Winning experience across multiple types of opportunities/Accounts
This role will be aligned to the Land Account within Digital Intelligence’s Defence business unit. The Account Manager will be accountable for developing and supporting the execution of the growth strategy for the Land Account, with a primary focus on UK MOD customer and user engagement, whilst supporting the expansion of Digital Intelligence Land capabilities into international defence markets. The role requires the ability to build trusted relationships with both customer leadership and operational users, translating mission challenges into sustainable business growth opportunities.
