As TES Team Lead/ Technical Engineering & Systems Team Lead for The Americas, you will lead a regional team delivering materials, metallurgy, and product quality support across Bradken’s product portfolio.
Reporting to the Global Technical Engineering & Systems Manager, this role is critical in executing the Technical Engineering & Systems strategy across the Americas region.
This role drives material development, product validation, and continuous improvement in close collaboration with global cross-functional teams.
You are a technically strong, hands-on Team leader who enjoys working closely with both people and products. You balance operational execution with strategic thinking and are comfortable managing multiple technical priorities at once.
You thrive in collaborative environments and build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners. You are proactive in identifying improvement opportunities, driving material and process development, and ensuring high-quality engineering standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical teams, working across functions, and contributing directly to product performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
~1 min read- Degree or Diploma Metallurgy or Materials Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Metallurgist or Materials Engineer
- Steel industry and laboratory experience (foundry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (Bilingual role)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
- High attention to detail and strong project coordination capability
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- Exposure to NX / Teamcenter or similar engineering systems
- Experience working in mining, industrial manufacturing, or global engineering environments
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of foundry processes and material characterization techniques
This role is based in Lima, Peru (Surco Office based in El Derby 254 Lima Central Tower) and supports regional operations across the Americas.
