Here are some key benefits of being in a talent pool: Linkage to employers Access to Opportunities and skill matching Networking Career Development Position: Operations Officer – Junior Level (Global Talent Pool) Experience: 1 - 3 years Location: Global Industries: Humanitarian, NGO, INGO Responsibilities Grants Management: Assist in the administration of grants, including proposal development, grant agreement negotiations, compliance monitoring, and reporting to donors. Financial Management: Support day-to-day financial operations, including processing payments, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and maintaining financial records. Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of organizational budgets, including project budgets and operational budgets, to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and funding requirements. Donor Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for donors, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and reporting requirements. Financial Analysis: Conduct basic financial analysis, such as variance analysis and trend analysis, to support decision-making and financial planning processes. Grants Compliance: Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies, and legal requirements related to grants management and financial operations. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation and records related to grants, contracts, budgets, and financial transactions. Capacity Building: Provide support and training to staff and partners on financial management processes, systems, and best practices. Requirements Core Competencies Teamwork Communication Time Management Problem-solving Adaptability Attention to Detail Technical Competencies: Financial Management Grants Administration Microsoft Office Suite Analytical Skills Research Skills Administrative Skills Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, international development, or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant experience in grants management, finance, budgeting, or operations, Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages would be an advantage. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude. Strong interpersonal skills in collaboration and coordination. Strong communication/presentation skills. Demonstrated capacity to work with minimum supervision.
