The Regional Manager – General Anesthia & Oral Conscious Sedation is responsible for overseeing the clinical, operational, and compliance aspects of oral conscious sedation programs across multiple dental practices within the region. This role ensures safe, effective sedation services while driving provider training, regulatory compliance, and program growth.

Responsibilities

~1 min read- →Lead and manage GA & OCS program across company.
- →Partner with practice leaders to ensure consistent implementation of sedation protocols.
- →Monitor scheduling, case flow, and utilization of sedation services to optimize efficiency.
- →Identify opportunities to expand sedation services and increase patient access.
- Ensure all sedation practices meet state dental board regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with sedation permits, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, including equipment, medications, and staff readiness.
- Coordinate and support training for doctors and clinical teams on GA & OCS
- Ensure certification and continuing education requirements are met
- Develop onboarding processes for new providers offering sedation
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for clinical teams
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sedation cases
- Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction related to sedation services
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and patient experience
- Partner with regional leadership, clinical directors, and compliance teams
- Act as liaison between practices and corporate leadership for sedation-related initiatives
- Support recruiting efforts for sedation-certified providers when needed
Requirements

- Strong knowledge of state regulations related to dental sedation
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
