Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
- →Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- →Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing
- →Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
- →Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- →Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- →Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- →Assist with hospitalized patient care and daily treatment support
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the veterinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of animal behavior, handling, and general patient care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to safely restrain larger pets when necessary
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient handling
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for animal care
