Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- →Support exam room flow and surgical procedures
- →Help obtain radiographs and assist with blood draws
- →Prepare and maintain treatment and exam areas
- →Communicate compassionately with clients and team members
- →Support patient care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic pets
- →Maintain accurate records and assist with daily hospital operations
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Desire to continue learning and growing in veterinary medicine
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds
- 1–2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a Washington Medication Clerk License (training provided)
- No late nights, holiday hours, or on-call shifts
