We are looking for a Quality Assurance RN to ensure EMR documentation quality, provide training for staff, and oversee patient care plans. The role involves assessing patient needs, coordinating care, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities

Review and ensure accuracy of EMR documentation in compliance with regulations

Train and support Skilled LVNs and RNs on EMR systems

Develop and implement care plans, making necessary revisions
- →
Monitor patient progress, document clinical notes, and report changes to physicians and staff
- →
Coordinate patient care services and oversee therapy-related documentation
- →
Assess and supervise clinical staff to maintain quality, continuity, and patient safety
- →
Conduct training programs for nursing and caregiving staff
- →
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations
- →
Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in performance assessments
- →
Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the care team
- →
Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and care procedures
- →
Maintain accurate medical records and oversee proper documentation
- →
Practice infection control measures and adhere to hospital safety protocols
- →
Promote a collaborative and respectful work environment
- →
Attend staff meetings and complete required training.
Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse is a must
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with at least half of that time working in home
health, hospital or related health care organization.
Minimum 1-2 years of direct employee supervision
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff
Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills
CPR Certification
Excellent interpersonal skills
Analytic/Critical thinker
Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with client, staff and
community
Treat clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public
image
Case management skills are a plus
Policy development is a plus
