SalesBusiness Development Manager

The Business Development Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business and expanding the hotel’s customer base through strategic prospecting, account development, and relationship building for our luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property.

This position will have a strong focus on identifying and acquiring new accounts, developing leads, conducting outbound sales activities, and uncovering opportunities across targeted market segments. The Business Development Sales Manager will research potential clients, conduct sales calls and presentations, schedule client appointments, conduct site tours, and strategically position the hotel to convert prospects into producing accounts.

Key responsibilities include maintaining an active prospecting pipeline, generating qualified leads, developing new client relationships, preparing proposals and contracts, negotiating business opportunities, and tracking account production and sales activity. This role will also represent the hotel at networking events, industry functions, trade organizations, and community events to increase awareness and develop new partnerships.

The Business Development Sales Manager will work closely with Sales leadership, Group Sales, Business Travel Sales, Catering Sales, Revenue Management, and hotel operations to identify opportunities and ensure new business aligns with the hotel’s overall sales and revenue strategy.

The ideal candidate has previous hotel sales, business development, or hospitality sales experience with a demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new accounts, negotiate, and close business. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, competitive, relationship-driven, and comfortable spending a significant portion of their time actively pursuing new business.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, networking, and organizational skills are essential. Experience within a luxury, upscale, or full-service hotel is highly preferred. Previous Hilton experience, particularly with Curio Collection or another Hilton soft brand, is a plus.
