EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

About the Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Administrative Officer to join our Transformation & Capability team within the Organisational Effectiveness & Culture branch at EnergyCo. Our team supports organisation-wide change, learning and capability development and continuous improvement initiatives that help EnergyCo deliver on the NSW Government's Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in HR, People & Culture, Learning & Development, administration or project support who enjoys working with people and contributing to meaningful organisational outcomes. Working closely with a collaborative and supportive team, you'll help keep projects and business operations running smoothly by managing SharePoint pages and team documents, coordinating inbox and calendar activities, taking meeting minutes and tracking actions, and providing project, administrative and operational support across a range of initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy environment, can manage multiple tasks at once and knows how to prioritise their work.

About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about people and enjoys supporting others to do their best work. You will bring experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, Learning & Development, administration, project support, or a similar environment, along with strong skills in using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft Office suite. Experience creating, publishing and maintaining SharePoint sites and pages is highly regarded. You'll be comfortable learning new technologies, identifying opportunities to improve ways of working, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills, initiative and a proactive approach will help you succeed in this role. Experience in learning and development or change management would be an advantage, but it's not essential.

You'll join a supportive, high-performing team that genuinely enjoys what we do. We work together to deliver meaningful people initiatives that make a positive difference across EnergyCo, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

If you're someone who enjoys working with people, is passionate about delivering great outcomes and wants to be part of a team that is helping shape the future of EnergyCo, we'd love to hear from you.

Ideally, you have:

  • Proven experience providing high-quality administrative, project or people support
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and Teams
