Enable New Zealand is a Crown-owned entity on a mission; to support disabled people and their whānau to live everyday lives in their communities. We do this by effectively managing access to equipment, modifications and information services for disabled people and their whānau on behalf of Disability Support Services (DSS) – Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC).
With our head office centrally located in Palmerston North, we deliver services to thousands of New Zealanders each year as Aotearoa's largest disability equipment provider.
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
We’re looking for an Employee Experience Advisor who is passionate about creating inclusive, meaningful, and practical employee experiences that help our people thrive.
In this role, you will play a key part in bringing organisational development and people strategies to life. You’ll work alongside People & Capability, leaders, and teams across the organisation to strengthen the employee lifecycle, enhance engagement, and support wellbeing and cultural initiatives. A significant part of the role involves translating strategy into plain‑language tools, resources, and communications that employees and leaders can easily use.
You’ll coordinate engagement and pulse surveys, analyse feedback, and support leaders to turn insights into action. You’ll also contribute to change initiatives, ensuring communication is clear, accessible, and people‑centred, while maintaining and improving intranet and knowledge‑base content. Your work will help ensure Enable New Zealand remains a place where people feel supported, informed, and connected.
Alongside your experience in human resources, employee experience, learning and development, or change, you’ll bring strong communication skills, a human‑centred mindset, confidence working with data and insights, and a genuine commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
