Technical Sales Representative (Junior - Agriculture)

Our client is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Representative who will be based in the Olifantsriver valley of the Western Cape, · The focus being to support the sales team of the company in the market and to help execute operations for the designated areas. · Administration - Support of sales operations including depot and stock management, documentation. Collection of census data and information from agents and growers. · Delivery of specific products to depots and farms · Sales & Relationship Management: Managing relationships with agents and industry stakeholders, to grow our agent network. · In orchard applications of specific products · Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations. · Information sharing via Telephone and email with key agents. Requirements · Grade 12 · Tertiary qualification or National Diploma in Agriculture will be advantageous. · AVCASA certification with practical experience of crop protection will be advantageous. Candidates will be required to obtain AVCASA if employed. · Min 3 years’ experience in the agricultural landscape · Willing to travel extensively · Valid driver’s license (Code B min) · Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word etc, and GIS skills is an advantage) · ERP / CRM system operation in field.
