Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Product Owner to help shape the direction, priorities and delivery outcomes of a digital solution. This role is responsible for defining and maintaining the product roadmap, prioritising the backlog, aligning stakeholders and making informed trade-off decisions across value, risk, scope, commercial context and delivery constraints.

Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists, you’ll provide clear product direction, reduce ambiguity and support commercially and operationally sustainable solution outcomes. You’ll bring sound judgement, customer focus and the ability to operate effectively in complex and changing environments.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Defining and maintaining the product roadmap and priorities in line with business objectives, client needs and delivery realities

• Owning, refining and prioritising a delivery-ready backlog that translates product vision, commercial context and stakeholder needs into clear action

• Making informed trade-off decisions across scope, value, risk, stakeholder expectations and delivery constraints

• Partnering with business stakeholders, software development and delivery teams to align priorities, sequencing and solution outcomes

• Reviewing delivered outcomes against agreed acceptance criteria, customer feedback and intended product outcomes to support continuous improvement

What you will bring to the team:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, technology, digital product management, software delivery or a related discipline

• Relevant experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Delivery Lead or similar digital product/software delivery role

• Hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog ownership, prioritisation, user stories and acceptance criteria

• Proven ability to make balanced trade-off decisions across value, risk, scope, stakeholder needs and delivery constraints

• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across business, technical and delivery teams

• Customer focus, commercial awareness and the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity while maintaining clarity and momentum
