Description -
HP is looking for a recent graduate to join the Trust and Privacy Organization within the Legal function. This role will support HP’s Business Units and Global Functions on a broad range of privacy and data protection matters, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide privacy legal and advisory support to HP Business Units and Global Functions on a wide range of data protection topics.
* Support the interpretation and application of global privacy laws and regulations, helping stakeholders understand their practical implications.
* Contribute to privacy risk assessments, including reviewing data flows, identifying risks, and supporting mitigation strategies.
* Assist in responding to regulatory, audit, and compliance activities where privacy expertise is required.
* Support documentation tasks, including preparing and maintaining records related to interactions with supervisory authorities.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of privacy governance frameworks, templates, and processes.
* Monitor and stay up to date on evolving privacy laws, regulatory guidance, and enforcement trends, and assess their potential impact on HP.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); a specialization in privacy or data protection is a plus, obtained within the last12 months.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluent in English.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Interest in privacy, data protection, and technology.
