Today, we support customers in more than 20 countries with data, insights, and software solutions that help them build more efficiently and sustainably.   The opportunity (Pioneer Finance Shared Services Team) This is a pioneer role within Hubexo’s newly established Finance Shared Services Centre. You’ll play a key part in building a high-performing finance operation — contributing not just to day-to-day delivery, but also to how we work, collaborate, and continuously improve. You’ll work closely with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and grow as the SSC expands.   About the role As General Accounting Team Lead, you will be accountable for GA delivery quality and month-end close execution for assigned entities/regions. You’ll lead the team through close cycles, act as the primary escalation point for complex accounting matters, and ensure accurate, compliant reporting — while helping to mature and improve SSC ways of working.   What you’ll be responsible for Service delivery Oversee GA activities for assigned entities/regions, including month-end close and reporting Manage complex reconciliations, journal entries, adjustments, eliminations, and account reviews Maintain a strong close rhythm aligned to calendars and stakeholder expectations Quality, controls and compliance Ensure GA activities comply with accounting standards, internal controls, and policies Review and approve complex entries and reconciliations to protect reporting integrity Identify operational risks and ensure issues are resolved effectively Improvement and collaboration Act as the first point of contact for GA escalations within scope Collaborate with FP&A, AP, AR, and regional finance teams to support alignment Support transitions, stabilisation, system enhancements, and process improvements   What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 6+ years’ GA experience, including leadership exposure Strong month-end close, reporting, and account review experience Effective people leadership and prioritisation across tight deadlines NetSuite experience preferred; strong stakeholder communication essential   How we work at Hubexo Our values guide how we show up every day: Own it – we take responsibility and follow things through Thrive together – we collaborate, support each other, and celebrate success Dream big – we look for better ways to work and grow Do the right thing – we act with integrity, respect, and fairness   Why join Hubexo?
