We're looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to take ownership of the New York market and grow it.

This is a 50/50 sales and business development role. You'll sell directly to families seeking U.S. college and graduate admissions support while building the local partnerships, referral relationships, and network that generate new business.

You'll have the autonomy to build your market, backed by an established company, proven services, marketing resources, and education expertise. Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission and performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities

  • →Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close, working directly with families and multiple decision-makers.
  • →Generate new business through networking, referrals, B2B partnerships, community relationships, and local events.
  • →Build and maintain relationships with families, partners, and referral sources.
  • →Identify new opportunities to expand InGenius's presence and revenue in New York.
  • →Serve as the primary commercial relationship for families during the sales and early transition process, partnering with the education team on service delivery.
  • →Represent InGenius in the local community and build a strong NYC presence.
  • Native Mandarin speaker with strong English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, business development, recruitment, enrollment, education, or another relationship-driven commercial role.
  • Comfortable generating your own opportunities and closing high-value, consultative sales.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and motivated by owning a market and growing revenue.
  • Strong relationship builder who can earn trust with families, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Confident presenter and communicator.
  • Bachelor's degree from a U.S. university.
  • Experience in education, college admissions, or working with high-expectation families is a plus, but not required.

Founded in 2013 by Harvard and Yale law students, InGenius Prep helps students navigate U.S. college and graduate admissions. We've grown to more than 200 full-time and 600 part-time employees across the U.S., Canada, China, and other markets.

Location: New York | Approximately 15% local travel / 85% remote

Compensation: Total compensation ranges from $85,000 to $115,000, which includes a base salary, commissions, and additional bonus opportunity based on performance.
