Job Description
Grover Gaming is looking for an experienced sales manager to lead a team of Business Development Representatives and Relationship Managers in a core market. The Sales Manager will be a key stakeholder to the growth of the charitable gaming business through strong leadership and relationships with our veteran and fraternal partners. This is a team and customer-facing role and will require time in the field- especially conducting sales meetings, attending state conferences, and present for key customer meetings/presentations.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Oversee the total sales organization in a core market including relationship management and business development.
- →Identify and expand new opportunities for Grover Gaming’ through strategic growth strategy around retention, device placement, and new business.
- →Be an “expert” on Grover Gaming products and services including being able to coach and train on our different product lines
- →Manage daily activities and overall performance of the sales team
- →Have strong stakeholder management with our current vendor partners and customers ensuring high-quality standard of service and communication
- →Seek out sales talent by interviewing and hiring quality candidates; actively engage and onboard new teammates
- →Maintain Grover Gaming’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values and uphold the culture of our business and sales organization
- →Work collaboratively with different departments on new product and game releases while identifying functionality gaps
- →Conduct regular one-on-one and performance reviews; monitor KPIs.
- →Track sales team bonuses and commissions
- →Stay abreast of current legislative and compliance landscape and help ensure our team and customers are aligned and well informed.
- →Be the liaison between in-state internal teams, customers, vendor partners and the Executive Leadership Team
- →Participate in any projects that Grover is working on that are relevant to the sales team and overall sales targets.
- →Attend Charitable Gaming related trade shows and conferences to promote Grover Gaming
Nice to Have
~1 min read- 5+ years sales management experience (charitable gaming experience preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to a team
- Ability to handle and resolve escalated customer issues
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Experienced in delivering strong product presentations that have led to successful outcomes
- Proven experience of meeting sales-based targets; interpreting sales metrics; and identifying new business opportunities
- Being able to take full ownership of your role and duties with a sense of enthusiasm and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with good organization, time management and planning skills
- Team player mentality with problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
- Have a solution-oriented mindset with a strong customer relationship management ability to drive performance, targets and KPIs.
- Ability to manage and communicate with different stakeholders at all levels
- Effective delegation and team management skills
