The Partnership Manager, Corporate Engagement is the execution anchor of March of Dimes’ corporate partnerships portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Engagement, this role owns the day-to-day partner experience from contract execution through renewal readiness, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned partners and the primary coordination lead internally across Mission, MarCom, Finance, and Legal.

While Account Owners lead partner strategy, deal-making, and renewal, the Partnership Manager is accountable for delivering on commitments with excellence for the partner and for March of Dimes. This means meeting deliverables without overextending, setting clear and realistic expectations, and ensuring every interaction reflects the integrity and value of the partnership. The Partnership Manager works within established CE frameworks and alongside the Senior Manager, Enablement and Communications to execute with consistency and quality.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, process-driven, and skilled at managing competing priorities across a complex portfolio. They communicate with equal effectiveness across all levels of seniority, internally and externally, and know how to manage up, manage across, and manage partner expectations with clarity and confidence. They bring strategic sensibility to implementation, understanding the intent behind each partnership and integrating that context into how they steward relationships and communicate on behalf of the organization.

 Core Responsibilities

 External Account Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned corporate partners, maintaining relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and consistent delivery.
  • Set and uphold clear, realistic expectations with partners about deliverables, timelines, and outcomes, delivering with excellence without creating unsustainable commitments for the organization.
  • Monitor partner satisfaction proactively, surfacing and resolving issues early, and escalating to the Account Owner when the relationship or renewal outcome is at risk.
  • Adapt and deploy CE enablement materials and frameworks to fit each partner’s context, ensuring all partner-facing communications reflect the partnership’s strategic intent and value.

Internal Coordination & Delivery

  • Serve as the internal coordination hub for partnership implementation, ensuring Mission, MarCom, Finance, and Legal have the direction, information, and timelines needed to execute all commitments on time and with quality.
  • Track deliverables, milestones, risks, and open items across all assigned partnerships, maintaining clear visibility and driving accountability across internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate proactively across the organization, keeping Account Owners, the VP, and internal partners informed, aligned, and ahead of challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and current records in CRM, including communication activity, renewal status, and partner health indicators to support pipeline visibility, data hygiene, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate Finance and Legal touchpoints on post-close processes, ensuring a seamless transition from commitment to execution.

Account Owner Support & Renewal Readiness

  • Keep Account Owners informed of partner health, relationship dynamics, delivery status, and emerging risks or opportunities so they can focus on strategy and revenue growth.
  • Document partner feedback, open items, and satisfaction signals throughout the year, building a thorough picture of relationship health in advance of renewal conversations.
  • Support a clean handoff into the renewal phase by maintaining continuity of relationship knowledge and partnership history across the implementation lifecycle.

 Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in account management, partnership management, or client services, ideally in a nonprofit, corporate social responsibility, or sponsorship environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and process orientation, with a demonstrated ability to manage a complex portfolio while tracking and maintaining commitments, deadlines, and relationship nuances
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with clarity, professionalism, and appropriate tone across all levels of seniority
  • Strong knowledge around expectation management and strategic judgment in execution, understanding how to deliver with excellence for partners, protect the organization from overcommitment, and integrate each partner’s goals into day-to-day stewardship and communications
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across internal teams and external partners without sacrificing quality or responsiveness
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and comfort working within established tools, templates, and workflows
  • Familiarity with the corporate philanthropy, cause marketing, or nonprofit partnership landscape
  • Commitment to the mission of March of Dimes and the ability to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity
