Moonshot is seeking a Vice President of Sales to bring operational rigor and scalable structure to a commercial organization with proven market demand. This is not a "go find revenue" role—Moonshot commands strong demand across AI data centers, bitcoin mining, and critical power infrastructure. The opportunity is to build the engine: repeatable processes, disciplined execution, and data-driven decision-making across the entire sales function. You will own forecasting, pipeline management, CRM infrastructure, team architecture, customer retention, and strategic engagement on key accounts. You will also drive competitive intelligence to ensure Moonshot's market positioning remains sharp and forward-looking. This role reports directly to the Integrator/COO and operates as a core member of the executive leadership team.
Responsibilities

Set clear expectations, build organizational depth, and drive a culture of disciplined execution. Establish and enforce repeatable sales processes, ensure adherence across the team, and create an environment where performance is measured, managed, and continuously improved.
- →Forecasting & Pipeline Health: Deliver accurate forecasting, full pipeline visibility, and demand planning that directly informs executive decision-making and capacity investment. Identify risk to targets early, diagnose root causes, and provide actionable guidance to the team.
- →CRM and Sales Technology: Own CRM adoption, data integrity, and reporting infrastructure as the single source of truth for pipeline and performance management. Ensure the business operates from a forecasting framework that leadership can rely on with confidence.
- →Revenue Ownership: Own company-wide revenue performance, growth targets, and margin discipline across all markets and customer segments. Translate commercial outcomes into clear, measurable results that align with the company's strategic plan.
- →Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and continuously refine Moonshot's go-to-market strategy across AI data centers, bitcoin mining, and critical power infrastructure—including market segmentation, channel strategy, and pricing architecture. Monitor competitive activity, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities to keep the company's positioning ahead of the curve.
- →Strategic Account Leadership: Engage directly with top-tier customers, strategic partners, and high-value opportunities to strengthen relationships, close significant deals, and solidify Moonshot's position as a preferred infrastructure partner. Own the post-sale relationship strategy to drive retention, account expansion, and long-term customer value.
- →Headcount and Resource Planning: Own the design and evolution of the sales organization—team structure, territory alignment, hiring strategy, and compensation architecture—to ensure the function scales in step with the company's growth.
Requirements
~1 min read- 10+ years in sales operations, sales management, or revenue leadership with a demonstrated track record of building and institutionalizing scalable sales processes.
- Proven success transforming sales organizations through operational discipline; designing processes, driving adoption, and managing performance through metrics.
- Experience in manufacturing, electrical distribution, critical infrastructure, or industrial markets preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical capability—able to build forecasts, interpret pipeline data, quantify risk, and translate financial and operational metrics into decisive action.
- Process-driven mindset with the ability to architect, document, and implement sales workflows from lead generation through close.
- Demonstrated ability to set expectations, drive accountability, and address performance gaps directly and constructively.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and business intelligence tools. Experience leveraging technology to drive sales performance and reporting accuracy. EOS/Traction experience is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA is a strong plus.
