Product Developer

Nanushka is looking for a talented  Product Developer to join our team in Budapest.

Support the Production Manager in coordination of prototyping, sampling and production processes of fully factored categories including denim, double splittable, jersey/fleece, swimwear, faux leather and satin/silk garments and seasonal testings of new categories with selected suppliers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Placing and following up on purchasing orders of samples and finished goods throughout the product lifecycle, focusing on multi-sourced-based projects.
• Carry out timely approvals of lab dips, trims, fabrics, fits and silhouettes, constantly being in direct communication with the internal Design Team and external suppliers.
• Ensure that all critical requirements are met for new products.
• Generate, update and finalize BOMs and tech packs for seasonal and carry-over SKUs.
• Work across seasonal data sheets and make sure they are up to date.
• Provide cost estimates and carry out the invoicing process.
• Actively participate in the pre-fitting and fitting processes by preparing, steaming, measuring and analyzing prototypes, SMS, PPS, and pre-shipment samples. Add or exchange trims and carry out necessary modifications when needed.
• Communicate with the RM warehouse and follow up on available stock inventory, assure the trims of timely arrival and send-outs.
• Organize documentation for pick-ups and transport. Support the team with the import/export of goods in foreign trade, being familiar with the system. Tracking on-time delivery of samples and finished goods. Arrange and handle the customs clearance.
• Perform quality control of production samples. Communicate with the FG warehouse and fulfilment team, and assuring finished goods arrive in the correct quantity on time.
• Report to Senior Product Developer about sampling and production status, and flag any occurring issues and delays.
• Development of luxury womenswear & menswear collections in close collaboration with our design teams each season.
• A strong focus with an emphasis on the quality and fit of each sample.
• Discuss prices for production and confirm sales meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and communicate day-to-day with supply-chain teams on any potential issues.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant BA degree and previous experience in a product development/production role.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal team members and external suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with a positive can-do, problem-solving attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Navision).
• Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential
• Fluent Hungarian language skills are required.
