Quick Summary

Overview

At Poka, we're changing how the world's industrial teams work — capturing the knowledge of their best people and putting it in every operator's hands.

Technical Tools
SalesAccount Executive

If you like a full pipeline, a fast sales cycle, and the satisfaction of closing deal after deal rather than waiting months on one, this is your kind of role.

As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll bring Poka's connected worker platform to growing manufacturers across North America - running a high volume of deals end-to-end, from the first conversation through to close. You'll work smaller, faster-moving accounts than our Enterprise team, which means more at-bats, quicker cycles, and a real chance to build a track record fast.

You'll own your pipeline and your number: prospecting into the right accounts, running sharp discovery, building the business case, and closing with confidence. You'll do it alongside Sales Development, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and our IFS partners, with plenty of room to grow into larger patches as you prove yourself.

This is a great fit for someone with a couple of years of new business closing experience who wants to sharpen their craft in a fast-paced environment, with a real path to Enterprise or Strategic as they grow.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • →Build and manage a high-volume pipeline through outbound prospecting, market research, and close collaboration with the Sales Development team
  • →Own the full sales cycle - discovery and needs analysis, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and close - moving deals at pace
  • →Build clear, tailored business cases that connect Poka's platform to each prospect's operational priorities
  • →Partner closely with Customer Success and cross-functional teams so customers move smoothly from signature to long-term value
  • →Keep opportunity tracking, forecasting, and account activity accurate and current in Salesforce
  • →Put AI to work in your day-to-day, research and account planning, conversation intelligence, drafting and CRM copilots, to sell smarter and spend more time with customers
  • →Bring customer insights and market feedback to leadership to help shape go-to-market strategy and product direction
  • →Contribute to lead generation initiatives and campaigns, drawing on your customer knowledge and industry trends
  • →Represent Poka at trade shows, industry events, networking opportunities, and virtual conferences
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or a comparable Account Executive/closing role, with a track record of hitting or beating targets
  • Experience selling SaaS, or strong transferable sales skills and a genuine interest in manufacturing or industrial technology
  • Confidence running a full sales cycle independently and managing a busy pipeline
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • A results-driven mindset and real hustle - you're motivated by volume and velocity, not just one big deal
  • A hands-on, curious approach to AI and modern sales tooling - you already use it to work smarter and are keen to keep learning
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English
  • Based in Central or East of the US, with great transport links and the ability and willingness to travel

We know great sellers come from varied paths. If you don't tick every box but you've got the drive and the numbers to back it up, we'd love to hear from you.

Manufacturers are under pressure to capture the knowledge of a retiring workforce, onboard new people faster, and get AI onto the floor in a way operators actually use, and Poka is one of very few platforms that does all three, already trusted at 3,000+ sites. You'll sell with the reach of IFS behind you and the pace and ownership of a growth-stage company, with a clear runway to grow your career as Poka grows across North America.
