About the Role
~1 min readRent the Runway is looking for a Senior Manager of Influencer to own and scale one of our most visible and high-impact marketing functions. This is a builder role. You'll lead the strategy, the relationships, and the execution that puts RTR in front of the right people, in the right cultural moments.
You'll sit at the intersection of influencer marketing, brand partnerships, and content, sitting within the Social team. You’ll work across three core areas: growing RTR's reach, relevance and acquisition through influencer programming, concepting and executing campaigns for brand partnerships, and casting talent for RTR's social shows. If you're someone who lives at the edge of culture, knows how to make a brand feel inevitable, and has the business fluency to back it up — this is your role.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Build influencer and creator campaigns, ideas, and platforms that truly break through culture and resonate
- →Identify and vet talent across tiers that authentically align to RTR's brand and member demographic
- →Manage agency and direct talent relationships to maintain a strong, active creator pipeline, staying ahead of emerging talent before they hit the mainstream
- →Own influencer contracting end-to-end: negotiating rates, usage rights, exclusivity, and deliverables in partnership with Legal and Finance
- →Develop and maintain a roster management system to track active talent, deal terms, and renewals
- →Develop and brief influencers and agencies on campaign objectives, creative direction, and content requirements; oversee content review to ensure brand standards are upheld
- →Manage campaign timelines and deliverables across multiple simultaneous programs, both internal RTR initiatives and sponsored brand partnerships
- →Concept and execute 360° brand partnership campaigns that drive equity and commercial impact, owning the process from brief to launch
- →Cast influencers and talent to appear in RTR's social shows and content series, matching the right voice to the right moment
- →Build and own RTR's influencer reporting framework tracking reach, engagement, conversions, and overall campaign ROI

- →Present performance insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, continuously optimizing influencer selection and brief strategy based on data
- 6+ years of experience in influencer or celebrity management
- Ability to leverage personal network of agency partners, talent representatives, and industry contacts
- Deep understanding of the target customer with the ability to identify products and trends that resonate
- Strong grasp of influencer KPIs with experience optimizing spend for ROI
- Culturally plugged in: Deep knowledge of the music, film, arts, and sports relevant to our customer
- Compelling storyteller, both written and verbal, with the ability to brief and inspire internal teams and external partners
- Advanced negotiation skills with experience structuring talent and IP agreements, including exclusivity, usage rights, and long-term partnerships
- Platform fluent across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels with a strong understanding of native content formats
- Clear, professional, and timely communicator across cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver against deadlines
- Strategic thinker who keeps company initiatives and KPIs at the forefront of every decision
