The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing business development activities within the assigned territory. The role requires a proactive field sales professional with strong B2B exposure in the industrial segment, capable of building relationships, identifying opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Execute field sales activities and manage end-to-end business development within the assigned region Identify and generate new leads through market visits, networking, and references Convert prospects into customers by understanding client requirements and offering suitable solutions Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business Identify new market segments and expand the customer base within the territory Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth Conduct competitor analysis and provide market insights to the management Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, accounts) for smooth order processing and delivery Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates Requirements Strong field sales and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to build and manage client relationships Target-oriented with a proven track record in sales achievement Good market knowledge and territory management skills Problem-solving and decision-making capability Basic proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
