As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a highly driven Commercial Sales Manager to strengthen the front end of the commercial pipeline, generate new business opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

About the Role:

The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies that generate new revenue opportunities across the company's Contract Services and Project Services offerings.

 

This role is focused on commercial growth rather than recruitment delivery. The ideal candidate is highly sales-oriented, relationship-driven, and capable of building long-term partnerships within engineering, construction, infrastructure, and capital project markets.

 

The successful candidate may come from either a traditional business development background within project services or from a highly commercial 360 recruitment environment with strong experience selling into engineering, construction, or project-based industries.

 

Role Responsibilities:

Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Drive new business development initiatives across target markets
  • Generate qualified opportunities that contribute to long-term revenue growth
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Develop strategies to improve pipeline predictability and future workload visibility
  • Consistently meet or exceed business development and revenue targets

 

Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across:
    • EPCMs (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management firms)
    • Contractors
    • Engineering consultancies
    • Project management organizations
    • Infrastructure and capital project stakeholders
  • Develop long-term partnerships that generate recurring opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients and industry contacts

 

Sales Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Identify new market opportunities and target accounts
  • Develop account growth strategies and business development plans
  • Present service offerings in a consultative and solution-oriented manner
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity

 

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate sales activity and opportunity tracking
  • Forecast pipeline activity and expected revenue
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and market activity

 

Collaboration & Commercial Growth

  • Work closely with leadership to align sales efforts with company growth objectives
  • Collaborate with operational and delivery teams to ensure client needs are understood
  • Help position the company as a preferred provider of project and contract services
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Has 5–8 years of experience in:
    • Business Development
    • Commercial Sales
    • Account Management
    • 360 Recruitment with strong business development responsibilities
    • Technical recruitment within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project services sectors
  • Proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Commercially minded with a strong focus on results and growth

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling services into:
    • Engineering firms
    • Construction companies
    • EPCM organizations
    • Infrastructure projects
    • Capital project environments
  • Background in contract services, staffing, workforce solutions, or project consulting
  • Experience in technical recruitment or engineering recruitment
  • Familiarity with project delivery, engineering, construction, or industrial sectors
  • Existing industry network within capital projects or project services markets
