PlayStation is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join the team on a 12-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.

Your role is to bring to life brand, hardware, software and peripherals global marketing strategies locally by developing, adapting and executing campaigns that create impact and resonate with local audiences.

Leading the execution of go-to-market strategies, you will coordinate across multiple internal Business Units, acting as a key point of contact to ensure alignment and delivery of campaign activities. You will work collaboratively with the wider marketing team, HQ and relevant stakeholders to deliver on key marketing and business KPIs.

In addition to campaign execution, the role requires a strong focus on market analysis, performance tracking and reporting, as well as the ability to proactively identify opportunities and contribute with creative ideas and initiatives.

Our ideal candidate is a skilled marketer with a passion for gaming, strong knowledge of player behavior, and a deep understanding of Gen Z language and social media dynamics.

Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Management:

  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across HW, 1st Party SW and Peripherals in line with fiscal priorities and launches
  • Own local campaign execution across the full product lifecycle, from market & audience analysis, briefing and planning to execution and post-campaign analysis
  • Act as first point of contact and key coordinator across internal Business Units (Sales, Channel Experience, Communications, Operations, Finance), ensuring alignment and timely delivery
  • Work closely with Global Product Marketing to disseminate product information and global strategies, provide feedback on local market needs and nuances and evangelize the product internally
  • Project manage the planning, briefing, localization and execution of global marketing campaigns, including paid media, coordinating multichannel outputs and tracking approvals to ensure timely delivery
  • Actively participate in international meetings, contributing with feedback, insights and recommendations

Local Execution, Assets & Operations:

  • Oversee localization and translation of marketing materials into Italian, ensuring quality, consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
  • Manage asset development, approvals and delivery across stakeholders and agencies
  • Act as guardian of the PlayStation brand and software IP, ensuring consistency and quality across all campaign assets and executions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on consumer engagement activities (events, social media, community initiatives) and support the development of campaign materials across channels, including retail

Insights, Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of market, competitors, consumer behavior and communication trends
  • Monitor international markets to identify trends, opportunities and best practices
  • Work closely with the Channel Experience team to develop real-time reporting on sales and pre-orders
  • Provide clear analysis and insights to explain performance trends and support business decisions
  • Track campaign performance and deliver reporting for local and global stakeholders
  • Monitor, capture and share consumer sentiment and social media reactions across the business
  • Deliver comprehensive post-campaign evaluations, including performance analysis, insights, results vs. KPIs and actionable recommendations

Creativity & Player Focus:

  • Proactively develop and propose creative ideas, campaign initiatives and new project opportunities
  • Scout opportunities through continuous monitoring of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Act as a “voice of the player”, leveraging strong understanding of gaming culture, Gen Z behaviors, language and social media dynamics to ensure relevance and engagement
  • 3+ years (or equivalent) of brand/product/campaign management experience, ideally within consumer-facing industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Fluent in Italian & English with the ability to confidently participate in international meetings and produce professional documentation
  • Passion for gaming with a strong and demonstrable knowledge of the gaming industry, player dynamics and ecosystem
  • Strong and up-to-date understanding of Gen Z behaviors, language and social media trends, with the ability to immediately apply these insights in a marketing context
  • Solid technical understanding of console features and ecosystem, with the ability to support internal stakeholders on product-related topics
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and pivot to respond to business demands in a dynamic and busy environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Curious, proactive, and with a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong interest in consumer insights and ability to translate them into creative solutions
