Accounting & Finance Assistant

We are looking for an Accounting & Finance Assistant to join the finance department of our company operating in the logistics and transportation industry, based in Istanbul, supporting accounting and finance processes.

• →Record and control daily accounting transactions in the system,
• →Support month-end closing activities,
• →Assist with bank reconciliation processes,
• →Process and control vendor invoices (carriers, agents, transporters, etc.),
• →Verify invoices against shipment files, rate agreements, and supporting documents,
• →Support vendor and customer account reconciliations and follow up discrepancies,
• →Issue customer invoices related to freight forwarding and logistics services,
• →Coordinate with operations and sales teams for shipment-based billing processes,
• →Monitor and report costs related to logistics operations,
• →Support the preparation of financial reports,
• →Assist in internal and external audit processes,

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field,
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting and finance,
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes,
• Experience with accounting software and/or ERP systems is a plus,
• Preferably experience in logistics or freight forwarding industry,
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills,
• Team player with good communication skills,
