Job Title: Manager of Records


Location: Sebastian, FL or Arlington, TX


Job Summary: The Manager of Records position assists the VP of Technical Operations by reconciling required documentation and compiling commercial trace, mini packs and LLP packs for all required assets and material. Often, the Manager of Records assists Executive Management with leading the evaluation, audit, and technical acceptance of aircraft, engines and material assets considered for acquisition, lease transitions, teardown, or remarketing.

This position may also involve the general oversight, including training and development, of Records Administrators and Senior Administrators. It requires that one be a self-starter, able to work as part of a team and willing to assist with all day-to-day operations inherent to a rapidly growing organization.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead detailed technical audits and reviews of aircraft, engine, APU and landing gear records to support acquisitions, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with pre-purchase technical evaluations and interpret airworthiness documentation, including ADs, SBs, MODs, STCs and life-limited parts traceability requirements
  • Analyze and interpret structural records, including Dent and Buckle Charts, repairs, damage history and DFP documentation.
  • Analyze and compile BTB trace documentation for aircraft LLPs (Airframe, engines, APU and landing gear) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Review historical overhaul records for engines, APU, landing gear and hard-time components
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring all Open Item Lists (OILs) are resolved to support transaction timelines
  • Reconcile errors related to required records documentation
  • Compile required commercial trace for aircraft, engines, and material assets
  • Track and respond to records requests from internal customers
  • Input asset utilization data into LeaseWorks and maintain digital records repositories to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain records management system and drive digitization, automation, and end‑to‑end traceability to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness
  • Possess high energy, cooperative and positive attitude and great sense of humor
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by management

Required Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree and at least five years’ experience in aviation technical records with a strong background in technical auditing or asset transitions
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft and engine records auditing principles, airworthiness regulations, and lease return requirements
  • Strong communication, consultation, relationship management and leadership skills
  • Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • If required, ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer or project locations for inspections or audits
