We're hiring a General Sales Manager to run Sudbury Mitsubishi. This is the top operator seat at the rooftop — you'll run the store and report directly to executive management at the group level.
If you're already desking deals somewhere and ready to step into the lead chair — or you're a GSM stuck without the runway, support, or tools you need — this is the conversation to have.
The store, Sudbury Mitsubishi, is part of the 401 Group of Companies. You'll have the marketing, digital, F&I, and operational infrastructure of a large group behind you, but the autonomy to run your store the way it needs to be run. No GM layer between you and the executive team — your numbers, your decisions, your accountability.
What you'll run
- Desking. You're on the desk daily, working deals, holding gross, setting the pace.
- Coaching. Building salespeople is the job, not a side task. We expect a measurable lift in close rate and per-vehicle gross within 90 days.
- The Business Office. Build and run a real F&I process — product penetration, compliance, lender relationships, menu discipline. If F&I isn't a strength, this isn't your seat.
- Inventory and pricing in partnership with the executive team (vAuto-driven, data-backed).
- Forecasting, pacing, and accountability for volume, gross, F&I PVR, and CSI — reported up to executive management.
What we need from you
- 3+ years as a GSM, or a strong Sales Manager/F&I Manager ready to step up with proven desking chops.
- A track record you can defend with numbers — units, gross PVR, F&I PVR, close rate, CSI.
- OMVIC licensed (or able to obtain immediately).
- Comfortable in a CRM- and KPI-driven environment. We use Dabadu and DESKIT—you don't need to know them; you need to be the kind of leader who actually uses the tools.
- A coach, not a babysitter.
