As part of Abbott EP, you will work in a highly specialized, international environment where technology, clinical expertise and patient impact come together every day.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Principle Field Technical Engineer, you will provide hands‑on technical and clinical support to customers using Abbott’s EP solutions, working closely with hospitals and internal teams to ensure safe, effective and high‑quality procedures.
- →Provide on‑site support during EP procedures, from simple to complex cases
- →Prepare and manage Abbott systems and disposable products
- →Act as a technical expert, troubleshooting and ensuring optimal performance
- →Independently manage customer relationships and act as an Abbott ambassador
- →Support training, product introductions and educational initiatives
- →Share best practices and guide colleagues and customers
- →Advocate for Abbott solutions and drive product adoption
- →Collaborate with field teams and support clinical studies and publications
- Technical, biomedical, engineering or clinical background, or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Strong interest in medical technology and working in a clinical, patient‑focused environment
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Sweden and occasionally the Nordics
- Based in or around Stockholm, or willing to relocate
- Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); Swedish is a plus but not essential
- Curiosity, learning agility and motivation to develop EP knowledge (prior EP experience is desirable but not required)
- A structured, quality‑minded approach and comfort working in regulated environments
