This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases.
We are the world leader in Rapid Diagnostics at the point of care. Working with us, you'll tackle a wide array of problems including some of the world's greatest healthcare challenges, while experiencing a myriad of cultures, geographies, and technologies.
As a Key Account Manager, you will manage strategic healthcare accounts and business partnerships, with a focus on revenue generation. and will be responsible for driving market penetration, commercial growth, and customer engagement across Abbott Rapid Diagnostics’ portfolio within the assigned territory
Responsibilities

Full accountability for revenue generation and the commercial objectives.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospect to execution.

Build and maintain strong long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across hospitals, laboratories, governmental entities, procurement departments, and healthcare networks

Collaborate closely with clinicians, laboratory leadership, emergency departments, infection control teams, and healthcare decision-makers to improve patient pathways and diagnostic workflows

Utilize business intelligence tools and sales analytics to identify opportunities, optimize account performance, and strengthen strategic planning

Develop customer-centric solutions, including integrated workflow offerings and value-based diagnostic approaches
Requirements
~1 min readMinimum 7 years of diagnostic sales experience within the UAE market. Kuwait market experience is an advantage.
Pharma and diagnostic mixed experience will be an edge
Experience in Point-of-Care Testing, Infectious Diseases, or Laboratory Solutions is highly preferred.
Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue quotas
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, patient pathways, reimbursement environments, and tender processes.
Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills with the ability to influence key healthcare stakeholders
