Job Summary

To provide advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics; enabling the provision of specialist business development expertise. Selecting this role has a compensation & benefit impact in Personal loans.

Business Management: Identify and develop new business opportunities across the regions and corporate and to work those opportunities to their successful conclusion

Strategy Development: Generate, evaluate and make recommendations on Personal Loans strategy as this relates to the customer value proposition and driving growth and sustainability from customer relationship portfolios Stakeholder Management: Actively promote and manage the collaborative engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners and other Absa entities Sales Management

Compliance and Risk Management: Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards  

 

Customer Relationship & Sales Management - The focus of the jobs in this Job Family is to drive customer relationship management and delivering the sale of products and/r services, providing sakes support and contribute towards business growth and sustainability through business development initiatives

Data management and Sales value creation . 

  • Develop and implement sales enablement frameworks, processes, and tools  

  • Support sales teams with training, playbooks, and performance resources  

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure aligned messaging and campaigns  

  • Improve sales productivity through CRM optimization and automation  

  • Provide frontline support for deal structuring, proposals, and pipeline acceleration 

  

Data Management & Analytics 

  • Manage and maintain sales data quality, governance, and integrity 

  • Leverage CRM systems ( Salesforce) to track performance and customer insights 

  • Develop dashboards and reporting for:  

  • Pipeline health 

  • Conversion rates 

  • Sales performance KPIs 

  • Conduct advanced analysis (segmentation, churn, upsell opportunities) 

  • Translate data insights into actionable sales strategies 

 

Sales Strategy & Planning 

  • Support the design and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies 

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior 

  • Identify growth opportunities across segments and channels 

  • Assist in territory planning, quota setting, and sales forecasting 

  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and methodologies

Education

Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
