At Agilent, our Laboratory Solution Sales Group in Japan is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-driven Account Manager to join our high-performing and collaborative team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Agilent’s industry-leading analytical instruments, software, and services to end-user customers.
This position focuses on supporting contract testing laboratories, manufacturers, and research institutions working in environmental and food analysis. You will play a key role in helping customers solve complex analytical challenges by positioning Agilent’s integrated solutions and advanced workflows.
As a core member of the team, you will combine your technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to grow the business. You will take ownership of both new customer acquisition and the expansion of existing accounts—building trusted relationships and uncovering opportunities in both established and untapped markets.
You will also:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote Agilent’s portfolio of solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer partnerships
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and local channel partners to deliver value-driven solutions
- Deepen your understanding of customer needs and translate them into tailored, impactful offerings

本ポジションでは、エンドユーザーのお客様に対して、当社の分析機器、ソフトウェア、サービスの提案・販売を担当いただきます。
主なお客様は、環境分析や食品分析に関わる受託試験機関、製造業、研究機関です。Agilentの統合ソリューションや先進的なワークフローを通じ、複雑化する分析課題の解決を支援していただきます。
また、チームの中核メンバーとして、専門知識と営業力を活かしながら、事業成長にも貢献いただきます。新規顧客の開拓と既存顧客の深耕の双方をご担当いただき、信頼関係の構築を通じて継続的なビジネス機会を創出していただくポジションです。
- 分析機器・ソリューションの販売戦略の立案および実行
- 新規顧客の開拓および既存顧客との関係強化
- 社内関連部門や販売パートナーとの連携による提案活動の推進
- 顧客ニーズの把握と、それに基づいた最適なソリューション提案

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of analytical instruments and software solutions
- Familiarity with regulations and applications in food and environmental analysis
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build high-quality relationships
- Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10–40%)
