The Creative Director, Business Development & Marketing is an internal-facing role within the Marketing, New Business, and Creative teams at Amp. This hybrid role combines creative direction, new business development, brand marketing, and strategic thinking to drive growth and elevate the agency’s brand. This role defines and evolves the Amp brand’s visual identity and go-to-market expression. Working cross-functionally across the agency, this individual connects complex business challenges with agency capabilities, crafts compelling narratives, manages multiple workstreams, and ensures consistency in voice, design, and overall brand identity.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Lead the development and evolution of the agency brand in collaboration with the Executive Creative Director and cross-functional teams
- Own and maintain Amp’s visual identity, voice, and tone
- Develop tools, templates, and systems for consistent brand execution
- Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoints
- Provide strategic guidance on brand-related initiatives and decisions
- Align brand messaging with business development strategies and proposals
- Lead storytelling strategy for new business in partnership with the Business Development team
- Craft compelling, persuasive narratives for pitches and presentations
- Edit and refine content for clarity and alignment with agency positioning
- Translate complex ideas into clear messaging
- Collaborate across teams to build cohesive pitch narratives
- Operate effectively in ambiguous situations
- Own the visual expression of Amp’s services and capabilities in pitch materials
- Ensure all materials reflect the Amp brand effectively
- Design impactful presentations and storytelling frameworks
- Develop and maintain case study libraries
- Create thought leadership and marketing materials
- Stay informed on industry trends
- Apply AI knowledge to enhance business development efforts
- Translate AI capabilities into client-facing narratives
- Promote AI adoption across teams
- Integrate AI into RFI/RFP responses
- Advise leadership on AI trends
Requirements
