Part Time Dishwasher - Branson Convention Center

Legends/ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Dishwasher at the Branson Convention Center.

• →Must have positive attitude.
• →Reports to work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
• →Follows instructions for each event as given by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
• →Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• →Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• →Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• →Prepare and package individual place settings.
• →Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• →Sweep and scrub floors.
• →Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
• →Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
• →Receive and store supplies.
• →Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• →Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• →Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

• The working hours are scheduled based on the needs the facility. PART-TIME ON-CALL scheduling.
• There is no guarantee of hours on a weekly basis.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to report to work as scheduled.
• Maintain a client service oriented attitude.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays and can work flexible schedules

• Will be in contact with chemical cleaning agents
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, metal cans, scalds and burns, slipping and tripping
• Frequently immerses hands in water; works frequently in a hot and damp environment

• Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read signs and follow simple oral and written instructions
• Other duties as assigned
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet corporate minimum requirements.
• Teamwork oriented -- cooperative attitude is a must;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines;
• Must be able easily adjust to changing priorities;
• Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
• Must be compliant with Health Codes

• Ability to understand and follow direction
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable
• Ability to work in a team
• Positive attitude and neat appearance
• English preferred as primary language, but not required

• Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves
• Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting
• Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms
