Description

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a world-class cultural destination dedicated to connecting people with plants and nature. The Longleaf Restaurant extends this mission through an exceptional culinary experience rooted in sustainability, freshness, and Southern hospitality, locally, sustainably sourced ingredients. 

This position is responsible for making sure dishes are sanitized and cleaned in a timely fashion.

• →Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• →Clean and maintain dish area
• →Clean Food preparation areas, facilities and equipment
• →Place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas
• →Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• →Remove trash
• →Sweep, scrub and mop floors
• →Receive and store supplies
• →Clean rest rooms
• →Clean and organize service area

Requirements

• →1 Year experience preferred
• →Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

• Lifting (up to 40 lbs.), bending/reaching, standing, walking for long periods of time
• Required to reach with hands and arms as well as talk and hear
• Finger dexterity and hand coordination along with specific vision abilities (close, distance and ability to adjust/focus) required
