The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting both your personal sales goal as well as the sales goals for a team of Custom Luxury Clothiers. As a key leader, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing a high-performing sales team, and maintaining excellent customer service. You will oversee and coach your direct reports, ensure sales goals are met, and assure that the day-to-day operations in the showroom, including tailoring shops and customer service support are run efficiently and with quality. Excellence in leadership and passion for our work and reputation are required to help your team excel.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Team Development:
    • Attend weekly Sales Manager L10 meetings to align with overall sales goals and strategies.
    • Meet bi-weekly in one-on-one sessions with the Director of Sales to review performance, challenges, and solutions.
    • Run bi-weekly Direct Report Team L10 meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and align team priorities.
    • Oversee and coach Direct Reports by meeting weekly in one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, motivation, and support.
    • Offer regular training and development opportunities to ensure continuous growth and skill enhancement for the team.
    • Conduct formal quarterly reviews of team performance, setting goals, and providing actionable feedback for improvement.
  • Sales & Activity Accountability:
    • Assure that your personal sales goal is met every month.
    • Hold the team accountable for meeting sales targets and maintaining consistent activity levels.
    • Ensure the submission of weekly "5 in 5" sales goals and daily selling activities.
    • Regularly review actual performance against sales goals and develop action plans to close gaps.
    • Track and monitor attendance, ensuring the team is meeting expectations, and coordinate PTO as needed.
  • Team Building & Development:
    • Conduct quarterly visits with direct reports, including shadowing/field training to ensure proper skill development.
    • Foster a cohesive, supportive, and high-energy sales team culture that promotes success and collaboration.
  • Customer Service Support:
    • Provide ongoing support to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered by the team at all times.
    • Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Showroom & Tailoring Shop Management:
    • Oversee and manage showroom responsibilities, ensuring that the showroom is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
    • Monitor and manage tailoring shops, ensuring high-quality workmanship, proper pricing, and timely turnarounds.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Ensure regular communication with Balani Buddies to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company-wide initiatives.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, customer service, and salesmanship.
