Responsibilities

As a Line Cook, you'll bring creativity, precision, and passion to every plate. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes including appetizers, entrees, soups, vegetables, desserts, and banquet selections
  • Following recipes and quality standards to deliver consistent, delicious meals
  • Operating grills, ovens, steamers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Preparing ingredients by washing, cutting, peeling, portioning, and organizing products
  • Monitoring food quality, flavor, appearance, and presentation
  • Accommodating food allergies, dietary preferences, and special guest requests
  • Supporting banquet and event functions with exceptional attention to detail
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Following all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
  • Working closely with teammates to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

Requirements

  • Previous line cook, prep cook, or kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-focused
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to assess food quality through taste and smell
