The Engineering Business Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth, client acquisition, and market expansion for the Engineering & Construction Group. This role develops and maintains relationships with key clients, identifies new business opportunities, supports proposal development, and collaborates closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of engineering and construction services with proven business development, sales, and relationship management experience.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, developers, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support strategic planning.

Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or client management experience in engineering, construction, EPC, or industrial services.
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction project lifecycles.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and close business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
