More than a restaurant or tasting room, it's a place to belong, a new experience. Our first location opened in Portland, Oregon, in 2022 and quickly became Portland’s premier destination for wine, elevated casual dining, and unforgettable events and celebrations. As a Line Cook at Amaterra Kitchen + Social Club you will have the opportunity to contribute to a high-quality restaurant operation while joining a talented culinary team, under Executive Head Chef, Jeff Kelly to help create a spectacular dining experience for our members and guests. Your commitment to delivering the highest quality of food, product standards, sanitation, and safety will ensure that every person's dining experience is extraordinary, every time.

~1 min readEnjoy working in a fast pace environment while utilizing safe food preparation practices. Cultivate an authentic food experience for our guests by bringing your creativity to the creation of distinctive dishes. Bring the recipes you read to life by accurately reading and following the instructions.
- →Set up stock stations with all necessary supplies
- →Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- →Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
- →Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen
- →Communicate clearly with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- →Help with cleaning duties at the end of shifts or as directed
- →Report any equipment issues or shortages to the supervisor
Requirements
~1 min readThis is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
- Bring two years of culinary training or related kitchen experience
- Experience in gourmet, casual fine dining, or scratch kitchens
- Experience working both hot and cold stations
- Knowledge. Quality knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment
