As an Account Executive, Healthcare at Hyland, you'll play a pivotal role in driving meaningful growth within a dedicated portfolio of existing healthcare accounts. This is a role built for a strategic, relationship-driven sales professional who knows how to connect the right solutions to real business challenges — and who thrives in a complex, fast-moving enterprise environment. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to expand customer adoption, identify new opportunities, and deliver measurable value — all while cultivating the trusted, long-term relationships that define exceptional account management. Responsibilities

  • →Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue within assigned healthcare accounts through expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • →Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
  • →Manage complex enterprise sales cycles and maintain accurate opportunity forecasts within CRM tools.
  • →Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, and Leadership to drive customer outcomes and advance opportunities.
  • →Lead contract negotiations and develop closing strategies to ensure opportunities progress and close in alignment with forecast.
  • →Stay current on healthcare market trends, industry challenges, and emerging technologies to effectively position solutions and identify growth opportunities.
  • →Develop a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed quota, including the identification and prioritizing of opportunities for assigned moderate risk, moderate impact existing or potential customers or partners
  • →Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasting on a real-time basis
  • →Pro-actively initiate contact with potential customers, customers and partners on a regular basis to develop, maintain and expand business relationships. Collaborate with all available company resources to develop and maintain pipeline
  • →Take proactive measures to streamline and constantly improve account management and the sales process
  • →Partner with sales solution engineers in the development of software demonstrations for customers or potential customers; actively contribute and participate in software demonstration
  • →Record all customer account information in the CRM, including opportunities, commitments, meaningful conversations, customer visits or sales calls
  • →Understanding of best practices and market trends, as well as customer and potential customers business and technical needs. Pursue opportunities for company expansion and integration
  • →Engage company specialist and support resources as needed to advance opportunities
  • →Assist with determining the viability of Request for Proposal (RFP) requests and directly influence the appropriate development of the response
  • →Attend and actively contribute to trade shows; ensure customers or potential customers are participating in company marketing efforts to the best of their ability
  • →Develop the closing plan for accounts; engage internal leadership as necessary to help lead negotiation and contracting process to ensure deal is closed on time, as forecast
  • →Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a demonstrated track record of managing and growing customer accounts.
  • Experience selling into healthcare organizations, including navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, opportunity management, forecasting, and account planning platforms.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer challenges and align solutions to measurable outcomes.
  • Experience selling enterprise software solutions to hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers, or payer organizations.
  • Experience managing accounts with annual revenues exceeding $500M.
  • Demonstrated success closing opportunities ranging from $50K to $1M+.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology trends, digital transformation initiatives, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Familiarity working alongside specialized sales teams and solution experts in complex enterprise selling environments.
