Sous Chef - Prescott Lakes

We are a private golf club nestled in Prescott Lakes.  We offer an active lifestyle with events and dining for our members. We are looking for the right person to assist the new Executive Chef to create memorable experiences for our members.  Our team is dedicated and eager to onboard someone with the aptitude to be a helpful and fulfilled leader of excellent culture and positive attitude to learning.

$25-$28 hourly

• →Assist the Executive Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
• →Assist in food production at off-site catered events
• →Maintain organization and cleanliness of the commissary kitchen and event stations
• →Execute batch cooking, station set-up, and on-site finishing with precision
• →Collaborate with chefs, event managers, and service staff to meet client expectations
• →Food handlers certificate that meets local requirements
• →Able to learn to input orders and manage inventory alongside the Executive Chef
• →Understand garde manger and garnish setups and execute them consistently
• →Growing a position under new leadership and new direction

• 2+ years in a sous chef or lead cook role
• Able to manage a busy kitchen and events without compromising quality
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
• Attitude to learn and create excellent culture for fellow cooks and service staff
• Heart for working with a variety of people and Mind to learn from those older or younger than yourself
• Flexible schedule with availability for weekends and holidays 
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, and being on your feet for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles is a plus
