Barrett Paving Materials - Mid Ohio I Sales Representative - Aggregate I Dayton, OH

The Aggregate Sales Representative is responsible for sales growth, profitability, and account penetration in the Aggregate line of business.

• →Identify, research, and qualify prospective customers and markets
• →Evaluate potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, products and demands, delivery capabilities, risks, and customer support
• →Maintain customer quotations, order entry, backlog reporting, accounts receivable coordination, and overall customer experience
• →Collaborate with customer, production, and material distribution teams to ensure effective execution of customer requirements
• →Educate customers on the selection and application of aggregate materials and logistics required to fulfill contract requirements
• →Establish pricing strategies that balance profitability with long‑term territory and company objectives
• →Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to product or service issues
• →Partner closely with the Accounts Receivable team to manage collections and meet DOS targets
• →Perform additional duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in sales/marketing, related field, or equivalent experience of 5+ years of aggregate sales

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive sales experience of aggregate construction materials and service
• Knowledge of aggregate construction materials application
• Knowledge of negotiation tactics, bid processes, pricing indexes and current costs
• Experience with city, county, state, federal commercial bidding/award procedures
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong math and computer skills with problem solving ability
• MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint and experience
• Previous experience with CRM programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with high level of self-confidence and energy.
