As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring and developing strategic client relationships in the cross-border payments and FX space. You will leverage your deep understanding of foreign exchange markets, payment solutions, and client needs to deliver tailored solutions that enhance customer success.
Responsibilities

- →Identify, target, and acquire new clients in key sectors (e.g., financial institutions, corporates, e-commerce, and B2B platforms).
- →Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- →Client Relationship Management:
- →Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
- →Act as a trusted advisor on FX risk management and cross-border payment strategies.
- →Solution Expertise:
- →Provide consultative selling of Convera’s FX and payment solutions, including hedging strategies, spot and forward contracts, and payment automation tools.
- →Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to position Convera as a thought leader.
- →Collaboration & Leadership:
- →Work closely with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- →Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in business development.
Requirements

- 7+ years in business development or sales within cross-border payments, FX, or financial services.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global payments and financial compliance.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
What We Offer
~1 min readConvera is committed to pay transparency and equity in accordance with applicable U.S. state and local laws. For this position, the expected base salary range is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location. We use a tiered geographic pay system to ensure fairness across regions. Candidates in high-cost areas may receive higher offers within the posted range.
