Responsibilities

  • Execute the sales strategy for DACH and adjacent European markets
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with gas DSOs, municipal utilities, and infrastructure operators
  • Lead and manage a pipeline of direct Service- and Technology Sales opportunities
  • Drive early-stage market engagement to ensure the business is recognised and invited to participate in relevant upcoming tenders in the market areas
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers on all required levels, including Operations and Management
  • Present complex, consultative service and technology offerings tailored to customer needs
  • Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure feasible scope, pricing, and delivery models
  • Track opportunities, pipeline, and KPIs in line with the Plan of Record (PoR)
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, roadshows, and client meetings
  • Support market intelligence gathering on competitors, customer needs, and regulatory developments

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales and key account management
  • Strong track record in selling complex technical services or solutions
  • Experience in the gas industry, utilities, infrastructure, or a closely related sector
  • Deep understanding of long sales cycles, tenders, and public procurement processes
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of technical curiosity and ability to understand advanced measurement technologies
  • Structured, self-driven, and results-oriented working style
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging at executive and technical levels
  • Fluent in German and English

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales and key account management
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales of technical services or solutions
  • Willingness to travel frequently across DACH and surrounding markets
  • Experience selling to gas DSOs, municipal utilities, or infrastructure operators
  • Experience with tender-driven or regulated markets
  • Strong understanding of the energy and utilities sector
  • Existing network within the DACH utilities landscape
