THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is an AI-driven workforce and human-capital-management analytics platform (~85 people, founded 2017) serving enterprise QSR and retail operators. This is the first dedicated sales hire — a grassroots, roll-up-your-sleeves role building pipeline through outbound prospecting into enterprise QSR and retail.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn. Research target accounts and craft personalized outreach. Maintain CRM discipline with full leadership visibility. Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Head of Strategy on a 30/60/90-day ramp. Convert event contacts, referrals, and warm leads into qualified meetings.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 90 days: complete ramp, master the outbound motion, and consistently book qualified meetings. First year: build reliable enterprise pipeline and establish the outbound function.

MUST-HAVES

1–5 years in outbound business development or SDR roles selling SaaS; strong CRM discipline and a startup mentality; high-volume prospecting skills.

NICE-TO-HAVES

QSR, retail, or workforce/HCM experience; experience as an early/first sales hire.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$130K–$150K base (USD), $160K–$190K OTE on a 75/25 split, competitive equity via ESOP.

LOCATION & WORK MODEL

Hybrid in Chicago, 2–3 days in office.
