NEMON, part of the Eneve Group, provides SaaS solutions that enable energy retailers to operate more efficiently, automate critical processes, and scale their businesses in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

As we continue to grow across Southern Europe, we are looking for a highly organized and commercially minded Sales Operations & Business Development Specialist to strengthen our commercial engine and help accelerate our growth in Spain and Portugal.

This role combines commercial operations, sales support, and business development. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our sales process runs efficiently while proactively generating new business opportunities within the energy retail market.

You will work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance teams to support the full customer lifecycle—from initial lead generation through contract signature and customer onboarding.

Responsibilities

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain and continuously improve the CRM system.

  • Ensure opportunities, customer interactions, and activities are accurately recorded.

  • Monitor pipeline progression and proactively follow up on open opportunities.

  • Ensure no commercial opportunity falls through the cracks.

  • Coordinate responses to public and private tenders and RFPs.

  • Gather required documentation and supporting materials.

  • Manage submission deadlines and stakeholder contributions.

  • Ensure professional and high-quality submissions.

  • Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation.

  • Assist with customer contract management and administrative follow-up.

  • Support contract signature and onboarding processes.

  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline analyses, and KPI dashboards.

  • Provide management with accurate commercial performance insights.

  • Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis.

  • Act as a bridge between Commercial, Product, Operations, and Finance teams.

  • Ensure smooth handovers from prospect to active customer.

  • Support alignment across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Maintain commercial templates, presentations, pricing documentation, and case studies.

  • Ensure commercial materials remain current and easily accessible.

  • Identify and qualify new prospects within the energy retail market across Spain and Portugal.

  • Conduct market research using LinkedIn, industry databases, CNMC resources, and other relevant sources.

  • Build and maintain prospect lists and target account strategies.

  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels.

  • Initiate conversations with key stakeholders including CEOs, CFOs, Heads of Operations, and Commercial Directors.

  • Build relationships with early-stage prospects.

  • Qualify opportunities and guide leads through the sales funnel until they are ready for engagement by the commercial team.

  • Support Eneve and NEMON's presence at conferences, trade fairs, and industry events.

  • Generate leads and strengthen brand awareness within the energy sector.

  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, Commercial Administration, Inside Sales, Business Development, or a similar role.

  • Experience supporting B2B sales processes.

  • Experience working in SaaS, software, technology, or energy-related environments is a strong advantage.

  • Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle.

  • Commercially minded with an interest in business development.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).

  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar.

  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and lead generation tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to create professional proposals, reports, and customer-facing documentation.

  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Highly organized and structured.

  • Proactive and self-starting.

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.

  • Curious about the energy market and technology.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the Spanish and/or Portuguese energy market.

  • Understanding of energy retailers, deregulated energy markets, tariffs, or energy regulation.

  • Experience with public and private tender processes.

  • Experience within B2B SaaS organizations.

  • Professional working proficiency in English.
