About the Role:
Responsible for supporting the Executive Pastry Chef in overseeing the daily pastry and bakery operation, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, consistency, and efficiency across all preparations.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the supervision of daily pastry, dessert, and bakery production.
- Ensure the quality, presentation, flavor, and consistency of all preparations.
- Supervise, train, and support the pastry team during daily operations.
- Assist in developing new products, desserts, and culinary concepts for restaurants, banquets, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and food handling standards.
- Support inventory management, cost control, waste reduction, and efficient use of ingredients.
- Coordinate with other culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth and consistent operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry, desserts, and bakery production.
- Experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or high-end restaurants.
- Experience supervising and developing culinary teams.
- Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and food safety standards.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and high presentation standards.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency preferred.
