Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue goals across corporate and leisure segments.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales on business planning, forecasting, and revenue strategy initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and travel patterns to identify new opportunities and refine positioning. 
  • Support the solicitation, negotiation, and management of Leisure and BT accounts.
  • Build strategic partnerships with meeting planners, incentive travel companies, and destination management organizations.
  • Represent the company and properties at trade shows, client events, and sales missions to promote brand awareness and drive group business. 
  • Support the resort’s luxury leisure and consortia partnerships, including relationships with Virtuoso, Signature, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, and other travel networks.
  • Grow high-value transient bookings through top travel advisors and wholesale partners.
  • Work closely with marketing on targeted leisure promotions and digital campaigns that reinforce the resort’s luxury positioning. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to ensure optimal group and transient mix, rate integrity, and guest experience alignment.
  • Collaborate with conference services and catering to ensure seamless delivery of group programs and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly revenue strategy meetings, contributing market intelligence and sales insights. 
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts and topproducing clients to maximize repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Host familiarization trips (FAMs), site inspections, and VIP client visits to showcase the resort’s offerings.
  • Represent the resort and brand at luxury travel shows, client events, and industry forums locally and internationally.
  • Administrative Exemption: Routinely perform office or non-manual work that directly relates to JC Resorts LLC’s general business operations and will customarily and regularly use discretion and independent judgment in performing the job. 
  • To follow all policies and procedures of JC Resorts LLC.
  • To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • To maintain the cleanliness of work areas. 
  • To practice safe work habits at all times.
  • To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
  • To effectively manage conflict and maintain professional relationships and communications.
  • To perform other tasks as directed. 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration or related field preferred.  

Must have five years of experience in a hotel of comparable quality, preferably in leisure sales or progressive sales leadership experience in a luxury resort or hotel environment. 

English Fluency required 

There are no licenses or certifications required for this position.

Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a car preferred

Deep understanding of luxury travel markets, consortia relationships and corporate account management. Demonstrated ability to support revenue growth and client relationship development.

Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills, understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting metrics. detail oriented, organized and efficient; ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments from different sources; able to work productively with little supervision; proactive; strong project management skills; high quality standards for work product and service; trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information; strong verbal and written communications skills; strong professional presence and strong conflict resolution skills; courteous, friendly, and professional manner; proficient in Delphi, Opera, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, internet use, and office equipment operation.

Works indoors in temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lighted office. Primarily in an office setting within a resort atmosphere, with frequent interaction throughout the property including guest areas, restaurants, and spa facilities. This role requires attendance at client events, trade shows, and occasional off-site travel. The pace of the work is fast and may require flexibility with early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business demand.  

  • Stand and walk moderate distances across landscaped and uneven terrain, including stairs and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions
  • Sit for extended periods at a desk, in meetings, and while traveling in a vehicle
  • Frequently use phones, computers, and standard office equipment throughout the workday 
  • Occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds over short distances 
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch as needed to perform job duties 
  • Use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus 
  • Perform extensive reading, written communication, and verbal communication throughout the workday 
  • Interact professionally with guests, clients, and individuals who may be upset or emotional 
  • Work effectively under deadlines while maintaining flexibility with scheduling and business demands 
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Maintain professionalism under pressure and handle confidential information with discretion 

This position is expected to travel for work. The frequency of travel may vary to key markets for client meetings, site visits or industry events. 

This position is eligible to work remotely. The ability to work remotely is not guaranteed and is subject to the terms and conditions of a separate agreement.

The expected base wage range for this position is: $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This position may be eligible for additional compensation according to the Company’s policies, as they may be amended from time to time.
